Epilepsy is a condition that affects the brain and causes frequent seizures. Seizures are bursts of electrical activity in the brain that temporarily affect how it works. Epilepsy can start at any age, but usually starts either in childhood or in people over 60. It's estimated that 65 million people globally have Epilepsy and that 1 in 26 people will develop it at some point in their life.
Wearing or carrying an Epilepsy Awareness Card can help first responders know how to treat the holder if they have a seizure. They are made from biodegradable plastic and are credit card sized so can be carried in a purse or wallet or alternatively worn with a card holder and lanyard.
We design all of the ID cards ourselves so if you want any of the wording changed then that's not an issue. You can either leave a note in the box when you purchase or alternatively, pop a message over via the contact tab and lets work out a new card together. Our tag line is Every Card Imaginable for a reason!
