Why use a Hearing Impaired Awareness Card?

Here's a startling fact for you.  One in Six of the UK adult population have some form of hearing loss.  In fact over 5% of the worlds population have some form of hearing impairment!  Whether that be from being slightly hard of hearing to being profoundly deaf its something that is common place.  But that doesn't make it any easier for someone with hearing issues to be able to communicate with the general public. Carrying or wearing a Hearing Impaired awareness card can take some of the pressure off.  It will tell people the best way to try and converse making it less stressful for both parties.  Hearing Impaired, Lip Reading and Full Deafness cards are all available in this category.

They are credit card sized so will fit easily into a purse or wallet, alternatively you can have them on display via a lanyard or card clip.  They are personalised with the holders name shown on the front and two emergency contacts on the back of the card.

We design all of the ID cards ourselves so if you want any of the wording changed then that's not an issue.
