Why carry a Parkison's Disease Awareness Card?

Parkinson's disease is a neurological condition that affects the brain and is caused by a loss of nerve cells. It causes problems like shaking and stiffness that get worse over time.   It's thought that 1 in 500 people are affected by Parkinsons's and although its assumed that its an "elderly" condition it's also an "early onset" one which means that those under the age of forty can be affected.

Wearing or carrying a Multiple Sclerosis Awareness Card can help first responders as it shows that the holder has MS.    They are made from biodegradable plastic and are credit card sized so can be carried in a purse or wallet or alternatively worn with a card holder and lanyard.

We design all of the ID cards ourselves so if you want any of the wording changed then that's not an issue.
