Why carry a Schizophrenia Awareness Medical ID Alert Card?

Schizophrenia is a serious mental condition that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. It can seem like the sufferer has lost touch with reality, which can of course not just be distressing for them but also for their family and friends.  A diagnosis is usually confirmed between the ages of 16 and 30, after the first episode of psychosis is shown.  Sadly, there is no cure for Schizophrenia.

Carrying a Schizophrenia Awareness card can help in situations where the holder is having an episode.  Instead of having to explain what is wrong, the card can do the talking for them.  They are made from biodegradable plastic and are credit card sized so can be carried in a purse or wallet or alternatively worn with a card holder and lanyard.

We design all of the ID cards ourselves so if you want any of the wording changed then that's not an issue.
