Assistance Dog Photo double sided ID Card with Equality Guide QR code

By law, assistance dogs are permitted to accompany their owner in public places as set out in the Equality Act 2010. This card is personalised with a photo of your dog, your dog's name, and your name. The front of the card has a QR code which takes you to the Equality and Human Rights Commission and their guide to assistance dogs (handy if anyone ever voices any doubts). The rear of the card has excerpts from the guide setting out discrimination points and guidance. It also has a magnetic strip and signature strip that you can sign.

This card is double-sided and made from biodegradable plastic and is 86mm by 54mm, which is the same as a credit card (3.38 inches by 2.13 inches).

The back of the card text is as follows and is taken from the Equality and Human Rights Commission's guide to assistance dogs:

Most assistance dogs are recognisable by a harness or jacket. However, the law does not require this to identify it as an assistance dog. Disabled people who use assistance dogs quite often experience discrimination that prevents them from doing everyday things other people take for granted. A disability is defined by the Equality Act 2010 as "a physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long-term adverse effect on the ability to carry out normal day-to-day activities. It is unlawful for a service provider to discriminate against a disabled person."
