The Card Project UK Delivery Options

We know how important delivery is. You order something, you want to know how quickly you’ll receive it. That’s why we’ve set everything out below to help you choose the option that works best for you.

We aim to dispatch all orders within 24 hours of receiving them. Royal Mail collects from us Monday to Friday. If you place your order on a Tuesday, we’ll do our best to get it printed and dispatched the same day. But to avoid disappointment, we ask you to assume it will be sent on Wednesday.

UK Postage

Second Class Standard – £0.99 This is our most affordable UK option. It’s ideal if you’re not in a rush and want to keep postage costs down. – Estimated delivery: 2 to 10 working days after dispatch – This is not a tracked service, so we won’t be able to provide updates once it’s sent – Royal Mail aims to deliver in around 48 hours, but it can take longer

If you haven’t received your order after 10 working days, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.

Tracked 48 – £3.00 This option gives you full tracking and peace of mind. You’ll be able to follow your parcel’s journey. – Estimated delivery: 2 to 10 working days after dispatch – Fully tracked with updates at every stage – No signature is required on delivery – Royal Mail aims to deliver in around 48 hours

This isn’t a guaranteed timescale, but most customers find it reliable. If it hasn’t arrived after 10 working days, let us know.

First Class Standard – £1.50 This is another affordable option if you’d like your card to arrive a bit faster. – Estimated delivery: 1 to 10 working days after dispatch – This is not a tracked service – Royal Mail aims to deliver next working day, though this is not guaranteed

As with all standard services, please wait up to 10 working days before contacting us.

Tracked 24 – £3.50 This is our fastest tracked service in the UK. A good choice if you need your card quickly and want to follow its progress. – Estimated delivery: 1 to 10 working days after dispatch – Fully tracked from dispatch to delivery – No signature is required – Royal Mail aims to deliver within 24 hours

It’s not a guaranteed next-day delivery, but it’s usually very quick. Let us know if it hasn’t turned up within 10 working days.

Guaranteed Next Day by 1pm – £9.50 This is the only Royal Mail service we offer with a guaranteed delivery window. – Delivery by 1pm the day after we dispatch your order – Fully tracked with a required signature – Ideal if you need your order urgently

If you order on a Wednesday, we’ll dispatch on Thursday, and Royal Mail will deliver by 1pm on Friday. This service is more expensive, but it’s the best option if time is tight.

International Postage

International Standard – £5.00 This is the most affordable option for sending orders overseas. It’s suitable for customers who don’t need tracking and are happy to wait. – Estimated delivery: 3 to 45 days after dispatch – This is not a tracked service – Royal Mail passes your parcel to your country’s local postal service – Delivery times vary by location

You may be charged customs duties or taxes, especially if you're in the EU. These charges are not included in your order and are the buyer’s responsibility.

Please check your local rules before ordering to avoid delays or surprises.

International Tracked – £9.85 If you’d like more peace of mind, this tracked service lets you follow your parcel’s journey. – Estimated delivery: 3 to 30 days after dispatch – Fully tracked where available – If your country does not support tracking, a signature will be required instead – Quicker than standard international delivery in many cases

Custom duties and taxes may still apply, depending on your country’s regulations. EU orders might be subject to VAT or other charges. These aren’t included in your order and must be paid by the buyer.

This option is recommended if your order is time-sensitive or you want updates while your parcel is in transit.

Delivery Delays, Replacements and What to Expect

We hope this page has helped explain your delivery options and what to expect once your order is on the way. The vast majority of orders arrive within the estimated time, but sometimes things can take a bit longer.

After we’ve dispatched your order, it’s over to Royal Mail — or your local delivery service if you're outside the UK. Most of the time everything runs smoothly, but delays can happen. These might be due to strikes, bad weather, customs checks, busy times of year or a multitude of other reasons that are beyond our control.

If your order hasn’t arrived as quickly as you hoped, we understand that’s frustrating. We’ll always replace anything that doesn’t arrive, but we do ask that you give it a bit of time first.

Royal Mail has set timeframes for when a delivery is considered delayed. These are:

– 10 working days for UK orders – 45 days for International Standard – 30 days for International Tracked

If it’s past that and your order still hasn’t arrived, please get in touch. We’ll confirm the details and send a replacement.

We hope your order arrives without any issues. But if there’s a delay or something goes wrong, we just want to say thanks in advance for your patience. We know waiting isn’t ideal, and we’ll always do our best to sort things as quickly and fairly as we can.
