Blood Group B? Keep First Responders Informed with Our Wallet Medical Card
Let first responders know that your Blood Group is B with one of these Blood Group Wallet Medical Cards.
The cards measure 86mm by 54mm which is the same as a credit card (3.38 inches by 2.13 inches) so will fit easily into a purse or wallet.
Blood group B is one of the four main blood groups, along with A, AB, and O. People with blood group B have B antigens on the surface of their red blood cells, and their blood plasma contains anti-A antibodies. According to the National Health Service (NHS) in the UK, about 8% of the population has blood group B.
People with blood group B can receive blood from donors with blood groups B and O, but not from donors with blood groups A or AB, as their immune system may react to the A antigen on the red blood cells.
Like other blood groups, knowing your blood group is important for medical reasons, especially in case of a blood transfusion or medical treatment that requires knowledge of your blood type. Carrying a blood group card with you can help ensure that medical personnel have access to this important information in case of an emergency.
