Epilepsy My Superpower Card

Epilepsy means your child can have seizures. These are sudden bursts of electrical activity in the brain and can show up as staring spells, jerking movements, falls, or other changes. They can happen without warning. Our awareness cards for kids help explain this to other people, so your child doesn’t have to.

This card is a quick way for your child to show that they have epilepsy, so people around them understand what's going on and can stay calm instead of panicking or assuming the worst. The design is new for 2026. Each card is £4.99 plus postage, with UK postage starting from £0.99. International postage is also available. The cards are pocket-sized, hard-wearing, and made from biodegradable plastic.

In everyday situations

• Teachers, club leaders, or friends' parents see it and know to give your child space, time to recover if needed, and call you if something happens.

• At school or activities, it helps explain why your child might need a quiet spot after a seizure or why certain things could trigger one.
