The design uses a dark charcoal background with a strong red edge that says “CARRY THIS CARD AT ALL TIMES” in white. Your photo sits on the left, the blood group is shown large and clear in red, and the rest of your details are in crisp white text alongside a subtle red map of the UK.

The reverse keeps the same dark look and red edge. It shows the following fixed medical note:

"In case of emergency, present this card to medical personnel. Always confirm blood type with laboratory tests before transfusion. For more information visit www.nhsbt.nhs.uk"
