When your child has epilepsy, a seizure can come on suddenly, and it’s frightening for everyone around – especially if they’ve never seen one before and don’t know what to do. This card explains it calmly. It fits in a pocket or bag, shows their photo and name on the front with a short message about seizures and needing someone to stay with them afterwards, and has emergency contacts plus an “Incase of Seizure” section on the back (space is limited, so a few key lines work best). You see it all on screen as you add the details, we print on biodegradable plastic and post the same or next working day.

The card has a deep purple background with rockets, planets, stars and sparkles – a space theme that feels fun rather than medical. On the front there’s their photo, their name in clear letters, and the fixed heading “I Have Epilepsy” with an orange cross. Below is a message written as if from your child: it talks about the brain having a little electrical hiccup that can cause staring, shaking or falling, and that afterwards they might feel confused, sleepy or sad and need an adult to stay close.

On the back there’s space for two emergency contacts at the top, then the “Incase of Seizure” section. This section is for you to personalise - parents often list steps like “keep dangerous objects away, place something soft under my head, time the seizure, put me on my side when it stops, clear my airways, call ambulance if needed, and stay with me”. Just remember that space here is limited so don't add too much.
